Training Workshops

Training Needs Analyses
For training interventions to be successful, they must be customer-driven and needs-based. We are able to assist organisations with the accurate identification of skills and competency gaps. Typically, jobs are defined according to specific measurable outputs and a gap analysis is usually recommended to determine training needs in relation to them. This analysis serves as a foundation for a training program and is based on actual competency gaps identified for each individual.

Our grading system provides a comparative study of grading systems already in place, enabling companies to enhance existing practices. In profiling a position, core criteria for suitability evaluation exist. These reference points introduce objectivity and, once again, align individual creativity to particular job criteria.
Career Guidance
This service is designed to provide individuals with sufficient awareness of their innate creative ability so that they can confidently align their career choices. The process is characterised by a comprehensive and structured competency assessment and a facilitation training workshop aimed at making the transition into mainstream easier.
Potentia Namibia Recruitment Consultancy cc. is an authorised franchise holder of the PiB assessment tool and we maintain close contact with its developer. Should a client company require verification for specific analysis and authentication of assessment profiles, their participation can be arranged subject to availability.
Payroll management
A current trend in the Namibian market is to outsource payrolls, especially those for management teams. At Potentia, we are geared towards delivering a comprehensive and confidential payroll management service to both large and small organisations. In association with our auditors we can structure tax beneficial packages. On behalf of five of our clients we ensure that PAYE, SSC, Medical Aid, Group Scheme and pension payments are made monthly and that annually PAYE certificates are issued.
Designing performance management processes
Throughout southern Africa , performance management is one of the most neglected areas in management. This deficiency can be attributed to a combination of factors which include:
